Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Chef's Pantry (the app at chefsaipantry.com), developed by Hauri Enterprises, LLC ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms.

License

Trial: The free trial is licensed for personal, non-commercial use on one device. It includes up to 25 recipes. If your library holds more than 25 recipes while the app is in trial mode (for example after a refund or after a subscription ends), only the first 25 you added are available; the rest stay safely on your device and return when you buy Core or subscribe.

Core (one-time purchase): Upon payment of the one-time fee, you receive a perpetual personal license to use the app on devices you own or control. You may not resell, sublicense, or distribute the app.

Cloud + AI (subscription): Your subscription license is valid for the duration of your active subscription. When your subscription ends, you keep Core if you bought it separately. If you didn't, the app returns to the free trial: your recipes stay on your device, but trial limits apply until you buy Core or subscribe again.

Lifetime (limited-time launch offer): A one-time payment for a perpetual personal license to Core and to all Cloud + AI features, including Cloud + AI features we add later. It does not include separately sold products or plans, such as a family plan or paid add-ons. Lifetime licenses follow the same usage limits and fair-use rules as Cloud + AI subscriptions. "Lifetime" means for as long as we offer Chef's Pantry. If we discontinue the app, features that run on your device keep working. The Lifetime offer is available only for a limited time after launch and may end without notice.

Acceptable Use

You may use the app for personal recipe management. You may not:

• Use automated scripts to mass-import content that violates third-party websites' terms of service
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the app
• Use the app for commercial recipe scraping or content aggregation

AI and cloud features have usage limits to prevent abuse and keep the service running for everyone. Limits apply equally to Cloud + AI subscriptions and Lifetime licenses, and may change as features change.

AI Features

AI recipe import uses Anthropic's Claude API. By using AI import, you agree to Anthropic's usage policies. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-extracted recipe content — always verify ingredients and instructions before cooking, particularly if you have food allergies.

Refunds

If you are not satisfied with your Core or Lifetime purchase, contact us at support@ChefsAIPantry.com within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. Subscription charges are non-refundable except at our discretion.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hauri Enterprises, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will notify Cloud + AI subscribers by email of material changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
