Privacy Policy

Chef's Pantry (the app at chefsaipantry.com) is developed by Hauri Enterprises, LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

What We Collect

Trial and Core users (no account)
We do not collect any personal data. Your recipes are stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers, except shopping lists you choose to share.

Shared shopping lists. When you use Share list, the items on your list (names, quantities and the recipe names they're for) are sent to our server and stored for 24 hours so the link works, then deleted automatically. Anyone with the link can view the list during that time. We don't use shared lists for anything else.

Purchases and subscriptions
Purchases are processed by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record. We receive your email address and license information so we can deliver and support your purchase. Your recipes stay on your device, whatever plan you're on.

Cloud sync (planned)
Cloud sync and an iOS companion app are planned for Cloud + AI subscribers and are not available yet. When they launch, we will store only the recipes you choose to sync, and we will update this policy before then. We do not sell this data.

AI features
When you use an AI feature (importing a recipe from a website, pasted text or a photo; explaining a cooking step; ingredient substitutions; category suggestions), the content needed for that request is sent through our server to Anthropic (Claude API) for processing. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to that data. We do not store the raw webpage, text or photo — only the structured recipe data saved in your app.

Website analytics
The chefsaipantry.com website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and page views and to measure page loading speed. It does not use cookies and does not collect personal information. We do not use advertising trackers.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide AI features you use (processed by Anthropic, as described above)
• To process your purchase and send license information (email only)
• To respond to support requests

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties, except as required to operate the service (payment processing via our payment provider).

Data Storage and Security

Cloud + AI subscriber recipe data is stored on servers in the United States. We use standard encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Trial and Core user data never leaves your device, except shopping lists you choose to share.

Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@ChefsAIPantry.com. We will respond within 30 days.
